What we do
Our goal as the Stewardship Committee is to provide an environment of collaboration, diversity and inclusivity by welcoming individuals of all ages and background to join us in loving and preserving the great outdoors for many generations to enjoy!
Our programs include stewardships, volunteering for community projects and contributing to the overall culture of wellbeing.
Commitment
Dedicate a minimum of 5 hours per month to volunteer activities
Attend monthly volunteer meetings and training sessions
Be available to assist during key events and peak hiking seasons
Commit to a minimum of 6 months of volunteer service
Criteria
Prior experience in hiking or outdoor activities is beneficial, and a basic knowledge of first aid and safety protocols is a plus. Trainings will be provided. Some of the key criteria are:
Strong communication and organizational skills
Previous experience in hiking or outdoor activities preferred
Basic knowledge of first aid and safety
