Join us on our NSHC Annual Hike event to enjoy the beautiful view of the Olympic mountains. We are excited to host you and your family at the Hurricane Ridge, where incredible hikes lead to a fantastic viewpoint.
Hike Details:
Hike 1: Sunrise View point - 2.8 mile Round Trip - Dirt trail - Beginner Hike (kids and all ages)
Hike 2: Hurricane Hill - 4 Mile Round Trip - Dirt Trail- Moderate Hike ( All ages)
Hike 3: Klahhane Ridge Trail- strenuous 5 miles RT - (experienced Hiker)
Activity level: All the hikes are suitable for all ages depending on the preference.
As parking will be limited, please plan to arrive at least 30-45 minutes before the 9 am meeting to avoid any long wait at the park entrance. Our team will be there at 8am to greet you.
Entrance fee: Olympic National Park charges entrance fee of $30 per vehicle. You can also use Olympic National Park Annual pass or America the Beautiful pass.
What to bring:
- Comfortable and sturdy hiking shoes
- 2L Water
- Bring your own snacks and meals
- A moisture-wicking top
- Additional clothing for layering
- Camera for photography - optional
Please note that there are no restaurants in the location. Restrooms are available at the visitor center.
