Join us for a breathtaking trek to the summit of Mount Pilchuck, one of Washington’s most iconic hikes! This is a moderately strenuous trail that rewards hikers with panoramic views of Mount Baker, Mount Rainier, and the Cascade Range from a historic fire lookout tower perched at 5,327 feet.

• Location: Mt. Pilchuck Trailhead, near Granite Falls, WA
• Trail Length: 5.4 miles roundtrip
• Elevation Gain: ~2,200 feet

• Difficulty: Moderate to strenuous
What to Expect:
• A steep, rocky ascent through lush forest and talus fields
• Stunning 360° summit views from the fire lookout tower
• A chance to explore the geology and history of the North Cascades
• Great company and a rewarding challenge!
What to Bring:
• Sturdy hiking boots
• Water (at least 2 liters)
• Snacks or lunch
• Layers (weather can change quickly)
• Trekking poles (optional but helpful)
• Northwest Forest Pass for parking
